Case study
Casa Tipo
A specimen book and a quiet identity for a foundry that wanted its typefaces to do the talking.

The challenge
A type foundry that wanted its typefaces to do the talking, and a catalogue that would not date.
The approach
The identity is the specimen: three weights, one size, plenty of space. The website sells licences from the same page that shows the type, so people never leave the typeface.

Identity
Pátio
A shape system cut from the courtyard’s floor tiles, used on menus, aprons and a neon sign that switches off at 23:00.

Books & print
Almanaque do Tejo
A 312-page almanac of the river: tide tables, recipes and ferry timetables, set in two colours on uncoated paper.

Websites
Barro
An identity and a shop that feels like the studio shelves: glaze colours as the only palette, and every product shot in the same north light.
